The equilibrium presence of a religion is given by: The presence of a religion in a province depends on the influence a religion has in a province. The percentage of the population that does not follow the state religion causes public order penalties. The population of every province is divided over the different religions present in the province. You can convert in the faction screen, under the summary tab. To convert to a certain religion, at least 35% of the population has to follow that religion. In addition, you get a +10 attitude with every faction of the same religion and a -10 attitude with every faction of a different religion For the details, see the individual religion pages The state religion gives a unique factionwide bonus, and gives access to a religious building chain and religious edicts. Rome 2 with DeI might be the best total war game to date, depends how much you like fantasy and warhammer, and I say that as a huge total war fan who has played all the games of the series, enjoy.Every faction has a state religion. I suggest you definately play Rome 2, and not skip it as other posters suggest here, also play it with DeI right from the start because if you try it later you will feel you were wasting your time without it. Rome 2 takes place in a period before Rome established it's power across europe and as such it is an incredibly diverse game with Gauls, Romans, Greeks and many more.ĭeI improves the game massively, by adding many new realistic units, more complex building system, better and longer combats, increases the difficulty etc. Attila is good but that period of history isn't as interesting as the one Rome 2 takes place in, in Attila rome was at it's twilight years (at least the western one) and there aren't many other interesting factions to choose from IMO.
I have played many hours of both rome 2 unmodded and with DeI and I can tell you once I installed DeI I couldn't go back no matter what.
